All we need to spend our leisure time in a useful manner. At the same time, our leisure activities should be whatever we love to engage with. That's how we find out our hobby. There are different activities that different people use as their hobbies such as reading books, writing stories, collecting stamps, listening to ​music, dancing, engaging in sports activities, keeping pets, etc. All activities benefit us in many ways. Always they bring us mental strength whenever we are down. Sometimes they are economically important too if we invest our abilities properly.
I love to read and write stories and collect sea shells in my leisure time. But my favorite hobby is collecting sea shells. I am an inhabitant near the beachside. So I am well provided with opportunities and resources for my hobby. There are many different sea shells in different colors, sizes, shapes, origins, and localities. Currently, I have a collection of sea shells that include sea shells from my country as well as from foreign countries. Whenever I visit a beachside, I never forget to collect sea shells as much as possible. My uncle who lives in the Maldives gifted me 10 colorful sea shells on my last birthday, which were collected from beaches there.
Before one year, I hold a sea shells mini exhibition at my school. We had an exhibition for our science day and I presented my collection of sea shells there. There were many nice comments. I explained to them about the origin of sea shells and how I collected them. Even though I collected those as my favorite hobby, I didn't forget to search further about their origin too. It provided me with a lot of knowledge. So I could win the best presenter award of the event.
I usually keep my sea shells in a blue color container gifted by my loving father. All my loved ones help to with my hobby. Whenever I am down, I keep a look at my sea shell collection. It brings me loads of pleasure which is capable of eracing all the sadness of my mind. According to my personal point of view, my hobby brings me closer to nature. I recently started to do nice creations by using my sea shells. There are rings, bracelets, and wall hangings. This enhances my calmness. Because I need enough patience to be involved with such activities. I gifted my mother a bracelet made of sea shells on her birthday. She liked it and loved it more. I was very happy. Further, I hope to start a mini store and sell them. So my hobby will strengthen me economically too.
I believe my hobby will be important for me in the future mostly. What I hope to do in my future is become a marine scientist where I'll be able to explore more sea shells. Further, I like to share that knowledge among all the people who love sea shells as I am doing. Finally, I would like to say that I like my favorite hobby very much.
